The Great Transition: Reflections 3

Driving cross country with a deadline is a combo of adrenaline and exhaustion. Our first night we arrived at Chuck’s (my wonderful brother in Kansas) at 1:00am. He’s a night owl so he warmly welcomed us and we proceeded to stay up and catch up until the wee hours. We enjoyed family time and some great meals. Us Mikity’s do like to cook. We then work up super early to get to Florence Alabama for dinner. Florence is the home of Alexis and Tia, her amazing service companion. Alexis is my dear friend and soul sister. Back in September we had the most incredible time at Dr Joe Dipsenza’s Advanced Week Long training in Nashville. What a gift to see her again. She lights up my life and reminds me of everything that’s important, love, overcoming, enjoying the blessing of life and laughing. Universe has the most magical way of brining us together. We left after coffee with Alexis the next morning with our final destination in our sights.
